Once upon a time I coached a boys basketball team at a Scarborough middle school. These talented gentlemen played with so much heart, soul, and genuine love for the game that it pained me when the season ended. One of our best players Ian (#31 shown above), got Scarlet Fever midway through the season. During his first game back, I watched Ian aka "FEVER" by his teammates, score ten three pointers without breaking a sweat. It's moments like this that remind me how lucky I am to be a teacher.
